This was my first time having something laser cut, small ply wood boards approximately 72cm x 39cm in size. The precision of the cutting is very satisfying, and it enables the two pieces to be layered and joined perfectly.
Shown here is the two layers pressed and glued, where the line-work is the supporting frame of the back of the board. This line-work mimics the composition I intend to paint on the reverse side.
I also really like the pieces left over, cut out from the negative spaces. They are beautiful little shapes to play with, like that of a children's educational puzzle.
