This digital work is based on hand drawn sketches made in preparation for new paintings.
Starting with the restriction of a regular format (rectangle), the line moves within, rebounding from edge to edge. Rotational symmetry is maintained through the mirrored movements of two lines with opposite staring points, that meet, and unite in the middle.
The patterned surface of the ground, follows from my work with timber, but here considers other coloured possibilities.
